# Multilingual widget

### 1. Introduction:

Selling globally? The **Multilingual Widget** feature helps you connect with international shoppers by automatically displaying your subscription widget in the languages you choose. With just a few clicks, you can enable and publish multiple languages so your widget translations match your store’s audience - helping you build trust, improve clarity, and unlock more sales across different markets.

* Lets you **select and publish** the languages you want your subscription widgets to appear in.
* Automatically translates all widget text into the chosen languages.
* Ensures shoppers see subscription options **in the same language as your storefront**.
* Helps you grow internationally with localization built right in.

### Install Shopify Translate & Adapt

Please install [Shopify Translate & Adapt](https://apps.shopify.com/translate-and-adapt?search_id=a4b21ebc-29b3-4a4a-ad04-706f5a3706c0\&surface_detail=translate\&surface_inter_position=1\&surface_intra_position=5\&surface_type=search) first. This feature is integrated with this app!

### Add languages

**Go to Settings → Languages** in your Shopify admin and check whether the available languages match your store’s needs. Add or edit languages as needed, and **make sure to Publish each language** before moving on.&#x20;

### Start localizing

Open the **Subscription Plans** tab or the **Widget** tab in **TA Subscriptions App** to find the **Localize** button.

> Note: The Localize button only appears when editing an existing plan or widget - create one first if you don’t see it.

### Auto-translate or translate manually

Click **Localize** to begin translating. You can translate manually or use **Auto-translate**. You may also switch the applied market at any time.

#### 📝 Notes

* Only **text values** can be translated - not variables. Variables are the elements that start with `_` or `{{ }}`. In this example, the translatable values are: **Subscribe and Save**, **Delivery every**, **Delivery every week 1**, **1 Week(s) 1**.
* When you update any content in the Widget, make sure to **re-localize the new content** in the Localization window. Otherwise, the updated text will not be translated.
