How to create a subscription plan group?
Let's manage and display subscription plans more effectively!
1. Introduction:
Subscription Plan Groups are required to activate subscriptions in Easto. They allow you to organize subscription plans and assign them to specific product tags or collections, ensuring the right plans appear on the right products. A single product can belong to multiple plan groups, meaning all assigned plans will be displayed together on the storefront widget.
To give you even more control, Easto now supports Customer Conditions - a new feature that lets you decide who can see each plan group. You can show or hide plan groups based on customer status, including logged-in customers, guest visitors, specific customers, or customer tags, helping you deliver more targeted and personalized subscription experiences.
2. How to use:
Fill out general information
Fill in the necessary information: Name, Title and Position. You can view a live preview of the widget on your storefront on your right hand while typing
Note:
Name: The name of the subscription group. This will be shown to customers on the Product Detail Page (PDP)
Title: The title of the subscription group. This will be shown to customers on the PDP, describing more details about the subscription
Position: The position of the subscription group. In most cases, you don't need to care about this field; just leave it 1. However, if there are more than 1 subscription group that are eligible for certain products, this field determines the order in which the groups are displayed.
Set the configuration
Set the Status of the plan group into Active. You can turn on the Duration Settings and set start date as well as end date as well. This is especially useful when a special deal is temporary or seasonal only!
Note: You can create a subscription plan group with special discount and free gifts exclusively for the festive season, for example Christmas, New Year, Easter,....
Select products
Choose the products applied. You can either search or browse the variants you wish to assign the plan group to. You can also choose the entire collection or specific tagged products.
Note:
If a product and its certain variants are selected, basically all variants of that product will be added to the subscription.
You can create special collections for each season, and a corresponding plan group too!
Configure customer condition
Choose whom can or cannot see the plan group. This is especially important when you want to offer special deal to a specific group of customer only, for example: B2B customers
Note: Setting customer condition is especially important when you want to give different discounts or free gifts to different groups of customers. Remember to tag them first!
